Chicago Sinai Congregation Membership
Inscribed over the door of our building are the words, “My House Shall Be a House of Prayer For All People.” This aspiration, first articulated by the prophet Isaiah, describes the universal, welcoming approach that is the guiding vision of our community’s worship, programs, and service to the community.
Our Sinai community warmly welcomes new members, believing that each new member brings talents, energy and perspectives that enrich us all.
When you join Chicago Sinai Congregation, you are joining a diverse community of members, many of whom are in interfaith relationships. We are one of the oldest Reform congregations in Chicago. Our congregation is committed to social justice and has been for 150+ years.
Sinai offers a broad array of opportunities for those of you who are seeking Jewish education for yourself or for your children, for those who are searching for spiritual meaning and purpose, for those who are committed to social justice and social action, and for those who are looking for meaningful social gatherings and relationships. We hope you will participate in many of our programs as you find your path within Sinai.
We look forward to meeting you and personally welcoming you to Sinai!
