Facilities and Indoor/Outdoor Space

Safety and security is always our highest priority. When you visit Sinai for a tour or to participate in a service, class, or program, you will first meet our security guard before you can enter our building through locked doors. Each classroom is locked, as well as the social hall and playground. We have more security measures in place that are not as visible to visitors.

Sinai Preschool’s large classrooms have space for movement, blocks, dramatic play, fine motor activities, sensory tables, quiet areas for reading, and more. Each classroom has a loft, adding more fun and adventure to each room.

Our large motor room (also known as the Social Hall) is accessed directly from each classroom. On days when we have inclement weather there is plenty of space and toys for riding, running, jumping, climbing, and bouncing balls. The rocking boat, tricycles, and doll strollers are popular, as well as the gymnastics mat and slide. As always, safety is first. This room is carpeted and secure.

Sinai’s playground is in the back of our building, connected to the classroom. Children do not leave our safe and secure preschool section of the building to walk to a playground, the playground is right there. It’s tall fence and park-like feeling gives us shade from the sun and nature to enjoy, all while climbing, running, sliding, not to mention opportunities for planting, science experiments, and more exploration and discovery.
