What to Expect from Families with Young Children Shabbat Services
Our Families with Young Children Shabbat services take place every month or so. These events differentiate themselves from our typical Jewish family services in some key ways. Here’s a look at what you can expect when you bring your little ones to Families with Young Children Shabbat.
Services with Music and Movement
We know children need to move their bodies and participate. That’s why these services are designed for young children and their families. You can expect singing, stories, and music that will engage your little ones.
Matzah Ball Soup Shabbat
Oftentimes following Shabbat services, we offer members of our congregation the opportunity to gather as a community for dinner and entertainment. After Families with Young Children Shabbat, join us in the Social Hall to enjoy Matzah Ball Soup and chicken tenders as we continue to welcome Shabbat as a community.
Children Learn About Jewish Life
Children Become Familiar with Jewish Surroundings
Participating in Families with Young Children Shabbat allows children to become comfortable in the Sanctuary, Chapel, and Chicago Sinai.
